Rust & Rustproofing
Rust Repair deals with existing rust — we convert or remove it and restore the affected area. Rustproofing is preventative — applied to clean metal to stop rust forming. We recommend treating existing rust first, then applying rustproofing to protect long-term.
Our industrial-grade converter chemically reacts with iron oxide and transforms it into a hard, stable polymer. It stops the rust spreading and creates a surface ready to prime and paint. It's not a cosmetic cover-up — it neutralises rust at a chemical level.
Our service includes underbody wax treatment, cavity wax injection into sills, doors, and chassis, and stonechip-resistant barrier coating on exposed panels. Backed by our 10-year rust-back guarantee.
Yes — and it's one of the best investments you can make. Factory underbody protection is minimal. Our treatment adds a professional-grade barrier from day one, greatly extending the life of the vehicle.
If rust reappears on an area we treated within 10 years under normal use, we'll re-treat it at no cost. Full terms are provided at time of service.
Surface rust and moderate pitting can always be treated. Deep structural rust may require welded repair or section replacement alongside chemical treatment. We'll assess honestly and tell you exactly what's feasible.
Repairs
Book in for an Auto Engine Diagnostic. We'll read all fault codes and identify the exact issue. Don't ignore warning lights — some are minor, others can cause serious damage if left.
Yes. We check all the areas that commonly cause MOT failures — brakes, lights, tyres, emissions, steering, suspension, and underbody — and fix anything that needs attention before your test.
Yes. The most common cause is low refrigerant — a standard AC regas usually solves it. We also carry out leak detection and full system servicing if the regas doesn't hold.
Both. Where possible we repair — it's cheaper and perfectly viable for minor holes or loose joints. Full replacement is recommended for heavily corroded systems. We'll always advise honestly on which is right.
Yes. Our Transmission service covers manual and automatic gearboxes — diagnostics, fluid changes, clutch replacement, and repair work.
